Konopiště Château

Konopiště Château is located about 45 km south of Prague. It was founded in the 14th century, and in 1887, it was renovated by the successor to the Habsburg throne, Frantisek Ferdinand d?Este, who was assassinated in Sarajevo in 1914. This château is famous for its fascinating collection of weapons and hunting trophies, confirming Frantisek?s love for hunting wild beasts, which you can see in the château?s interiors. Český Šternberk
Charming example of Czech history.
A unique example of a building which was almost continuously the property of its founder, the Šternberk family (from the middle of the 13th century until 1949). It was returned to the Šternberks in 1991. A gothic castle, whose fortification system has survived to date. It was rebuilt into a Baroque structure in the 18th century. Your trip can be completed by lunch in a stylish restaurant.

Terezín
Tour to the town where a Nazi concentration camp was located.
Accept our invitation and come with us on an excursion to Theresienstadt concentration camp (referred to in Czech as Terezín) which was a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. In 1940 the Gestapo took control of Terezín and set up a prison there by reconstructing a baroque military fortress. The town itsel was turned into a ghetto for Jews from the Czech Lands and other countries prior to their deportation to extermination camps. In 1947 the Terezín Monument was opened there in order to commemorate the fate of many thousands of innocent victims.

The town and the castle of Český Krumlov are the pearl of Southern Bohemia.
Český Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a lively, cosmopolitan town with a unique atmosphere surrounded by unspoiled countryside. Dominated by a castle stretching over the meandering Vltava River, Český Krumlov?s narrow cobblestone streets wind along romantic nooks between patrician houses where you?ll find attractive exhibits of world-renowned artists, such as Egon Schiele, music festivals, concerts, and theatre performances. It was a seat of the powerful Rožmberk and Schwarzenberg families, who greatly influenced Czech history, and now houses rich historical collections. In the castle gardens you cannot miss the unique castle theatre with its rotating auditorium and the château garden. You will also have time to have lunch and relax in one of the stylish local pubs.
