Unesco and cultural heritage tours

Central Europe is a area with long history and deep traditions. Therefore it is rich in culturalheritage and many of the monuments have been entered into the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage.
If your group is focused on history, we will be most happy to design a tailor-made tour for you visiting some of the cultural sites of your interest.

LET US INVITE YOU TO:

  • tour of castles with an accompanying program (concerts, medieval feasts, craft fairs...)
  • tour of chateaux with many historical artefacts, such as paintings, sculptures, furniture, hunting trophies, etc.
  • well-preserved historical towns that were lucky to escape the destruction of World Word II
  • folk architecture tour ? the most distinct elements of the rural environment come from the baroque period. It is also very interesting to discover the differences between the villages and architecture in former German regions (in Sudetenland) and in the Czech regions
  • churches: Romanesque rotundas, Gothic cathedrals, Baroque temples, or modern 20th century churches ? the country is scattered by thousands of churches ? it is unusual to find a village without at least a small chapel
  • a tour of modern architecture ? famous early 20th century cubist and functionalist houses, new technologies of the 60?s, or the comeback of the world architecture at the dawn of the 21st century...
  • an encounter with folk traditions: some of them are slowly dying out, but many others survive, especially in Moravia? we will take you to real carnivals, pig-feasts, the grape harvest or teach you how to prepare Easter or Christmas traditional meals
  • a Czech arts discovery tour (theatre, literature, fine arts, music...)

Because there are many UNESCO Sites, we can arrange for you special tour, up only your demands and requests. It is not possible to see everything, but the most interesting you will find in our ?THE MOST FAVOURITE TOURS?, including prices.
